The idea for this site started when I embarked on the onerous task of organizing the hundreds of photographs I’ve taken over the years. While I have always been an avid photographer, I’d recently begun to put greater effort into my writing, something I’ve dabbled with since I was a kid. As I grouped pictures together, the various collections made me think of things beyond what the images showed. My brain started stringing thoughts together, piece by piece, and I realized there’s no need to keep these two pursuits on divergent paths. Because there’s a story behind every image. These stories are mine.
